         Aurora Avila , Advantage Mortgage

    Aurora is a licensed Broker since 1985, experienced in both real estate sales and mortgage loans.  She has been originating loans since 1991 and currently operates Advantage Mortgage located in Pinole.   With over 45 years of combined staff experience let Advantage Mortgage fund your next real estate loan.

     

    Madeline Crandall , Farmers Insurance

    As an insurance professional,with 24 years of experience, I have been continually updating my education. The frequent changes in the insurance and business industry makes it a work in progress. In an effort to share my knowledge and to help others in the community, I have conducted many workshops and classes.

    Whether you just want to review your auto, home and life insurance or need to cover your business, workers compensation or health insurance, you will pleased with my expertise. We welcome all visitors to our office @ 1249 Pinole Valley Rd, suite 200.

    Roger Kleman, Advantage Mortgage
    My name is Roger Kleman with Advantage Mortgage. I was raised in the northern bay area spending most of my years in Fairfield, CA.
    After attending high school there I went to Solano Community College. There I studied in the engineering field.
    After my studies, I worked in the manufacturing industry making component parts for Applied Materials, and other Silicon Valley Companies.
    Then in 2000 was a downturn in manufacturing with outsourcing. I moved throughout the bay area and found the little city of Pinole.
    Rich in history and pride, I ventured into real estate financing were I found employment and a business with Advantage Mortgage.
    A company founded over 20 years ago. I look to serve my community and clients with the professional service they look for and expect,
    as an Ambassador with the Pinole Chamber of Commerce. It is a pleasure and delight to serve the business community.     
     

    Isabel Tsang, Albany Cabinets & Design

    Isabel is the owner and designer of Albany Cabinets & Design. Her experience includes years at Home Depot and Expo Design Center where she not only designed but specialized in product sales. In addition to her knowledge of cabinet lines, she is familiar with high end appliances, countertops, flooring, plumbing fixtures and installation procedures.

    Isabel is also a Member of NKBA, NARI, Chamber Commerce of Albany and Chamber Commerce of Berkeley.

Who are we?

What's our role in the Chamber?

The Chamber Ambassadors is a volunteer program. We have been selected to represent the Pinole Chamber of Commerce in our community and at Chamber sponsored events because of our commitment to and involvement in the Chamber.

The Ambassadors are dedicated volunteers from businesses throughout the East Bay. They act as liaison between the Chamber and our member businesses. Their mission is to welcome, nurture, and recruit new Chamber members; act as goodwill representatives at Chamber functions, and aid in the support of Chamber members.

The focus of the Pinole Chamber Ambassadors is:

  • To support and actively participate in the goals and action plans established by the Board of Directors 
  • To welcome and involve existing members through participation in Chamber sponsored events
  • To visit new members to encourage involvement in the many programs offered by the Chamber
  • To act as hosts to introduce others
  • To greet everyone at social functions, making them feel welcome
  • To participate in Ribbon Cuttings/Grand Openings and other events for Chamber member businesses
  • To participate in Ambassador meetings
  • To represent the Chamber in a professional manner

Wow! That's a huge commitment for volunteers!

You're right - it is. However, our organization is fortunate enough to have individuals from our business community who believe in the value of business-building-business. They also feel an obligation as community leaders to devote their time, knowledge, and experience to work for continued development and the prosperity of the City of Pinole.

The next time you see an Ambassador at a Chamber event, take a moment to say "thank you" for their volunteer service.

Monica Shaw, Kendall Financial Services Monica Shaw is an Enrolled Agent who operates Kendall Financial Services located in Pinole.  Kendall Financial Services does accounting and taxes for small business operators including; self employed, corporate, LLC, non-profit, trust, estate and partnerships.

Joni Shattuck, Pear Street Bistro

My name is Joni Shattuck. I have lived in Pinole for 27 years. I have worked for Pear Street Bistro since it opened in 2001. I love my job as Hostess. I get to meet new customers everyday. I am also a member of the Pinole-Richmond Lions Club since 1997.

Please visit the Bistro for your next event. We specialize in large or small corporate parties or just a romantic dinner for two.
